Your 401(k) Savings Plan can help you get ready to have the retirement you want. Get started today.
Employee Contributions
If you are eligible, you will be automatically enrolled in the 401(k) Savings Plan at a pre-tax rate of 3% of your pay unless you choose a different contribution amount or choose to opt out. Your contributions will be automatically invested in the plan’s default investment option(s).
You may contribute from 1% to 85% of your pay as pre-tax, Roth 401(k) and/or after-tax contributions up to IRS limits, all through payroll deductions taken each pay period. The 2024 IRS employee pre-tax and Roth 401(k) contribution limit is $23,000 of your pay. However, if you’re age 50 or older, you can save an additional $7,500 in catch-up contributions. The total of your pre-tax, Roth 401(k) and after-tax contributions cannot exceed 85%.
Employer Matching Contributions
DFIN will match 50% of your contributions, up to 6% of your eligible pay, per pay period — with an option for an additional discretionary match if the company does well.
Investment Options
Choosing a mix of investments right for your age and personal circumstances is one of the keys for smart investing. You can:
- Do it yourself: Your plan offers a wide range of investments so you can choose the mix you prefer based on your own investing strategy.
- Choose one: If you want to make choosing investments more convenient, you can select a single pre-diversified target date fund based on your expected retirement date.
- Choose more: If you are a more-experienced investor, you can select a self-directed brokerage (SDB) account, which gives you access to a vast range of investments beyond those available through your plan. This option is intended for knowledgeable investors who acknowledge and understand the risks associated with the investments contained in the SDB account.
- Choose a managed account option with Morningstar. For more information visit empowermyretirement.com or call 1-844-243-4773.
