Enroll for Benefits
2024 Annual Enrollment closed November 3, 2023.

Annual Enrollment is your once-a-year opportunity to elect or make changes to your benefits. Choose carefully! With some exceptions, your choices remain in effect through December 31, 2024.

Three Ways to Enroll

  1. Enroll at mydfinbenefits.com.
  2. Call the Benefits Center at 1-877-308-1464 Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. CT.
  3. Download the Benefitexpressway App from Google Play or the App Store.

Your Enrollment Checklist

Use this checklist to guide you through the Annual Enrollment process:

  • Review your options and learn what’s new for 2024.
  • Register and create a password at our new benefits enrollment site, mydfinbenefits.com, and if desired, download the Benefitexpressway app.
  • Use the modeling tool at mydfinbenefits.com to assist you with choosing the best plan for you and your family.
  • Review and/or update your dependents at mydfinbenefits.com.
  • Make your Tobacco-free Pledge if you didn’t already.
    • DFIN encourages you to lead a healthy lifestyle. That’s why the company offers a discount on medical premiums if you don’t use tobacco products. If you are a tobacco user and will not participate in the tobacco-cessation program in 2024, you will pay a surcharge.
  • Decide how much you want to contribute to your Health Savings Account (HSA) or your Limited-Use FSA if you’re enrolled or enrolling in the Bronze HSA or Silver HSA medical plan. NOTE: You must elect your HSA contributions during Annual Enrollment to ensure they begin on January 1, 2024, even though you can change your contribution amount at any time.
  • Decide how much you want to contribute to your Full-Use FSA if you’re enrolled or enrolling in the Gold PPO medical plan.
  • Review and/or update your beneficiary information for life insuranceHSA and 401(k) Savings Plan and supplemental health care.
  • Go to mydfinbenefits.com to enroll or make changes to your benefits by the enrollment deadline.

IMPORTANT

Your tobacco declaration will be used for both medical and life insurance purposes, as applicable.

If You Don’t Enroll

Here’s what will happen if you don’t take action by the enrollment deadline:

All Benefits

  • You will maintain your current medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D, LTD Buy-up, and Supplemental Health Care coverage for 2024.
  • If you are currently covered by the HSA option, you will not make any contributions to your HSA beginning on January 1, 2024, even if you currently contribute.
  • You will not be able to contribute to an FSA, even if you currently contribute.
  • You will receive the tobacco-free credit toward your medical premium if you make a Tobacco-free Pledge in 2024.

CHANGE SOME BENEFITS AT ANY TIME

For a few benefits, you can make changes at any time, including your HSA contribution amount and certain voluntary benefits, such as auto and home insurance, commuter benefits, and pet insurance.
