Find Top Providers and Get Paid Back with Your Garner Benefit
When you enroll in any DFIN medical option, you get Garner — a free medical program resource that helps you find Top Providers and gives you money when you use them. Garner reimburses your eligible out-of-pocket medical costs when you use a Garner-approved Top Provider: up to $1,000 per person/$2,000 per family.
Your benefit is provided through your medical plan:
- In the Bronze or Silver Plan, your Garner benefit is put into your HSA for you to draw from as Garner approves your eligible expenses.
- In the Gold Plan, your Garner benefit is sent to you through your preferred payment method (direct deposit or check by mail) set in the Garner app as Garner approves your eligible expenses.
Getting Started
Start by registering your Garner account through the app or website. Once you’re in, search for your current doctors to see if they’re Garner Top Providers and add them to your care team. You can also search for new providers by specialty, health care need or location. If you don’t see your doctor or need help finding the right provider, Garner’s concierge team can help.

Use the Garner app or website to find Top Providers who meet your needs. Search by provider, specialty or health care need. - Add Your Provider to Your Care Team
Make sure to add your provider to your Care Team before your visit. - Get Paid Back
After seeking care from a Top Provider in your Care Team, submit your claim directly through the Garner app or website. Garner will reimburse your eligible out-of-pocket medical costs according to your benefit.
